Module 1 - Intro
Welcome to the Art of Juicy Self-Care!
I’m Shannon Judge, certified professional coach and self-care expert of 30 years. The very first rule of self-care is: Self-Care is NOT selfish! In fact, besides being the greatest gift you can give yourself, it’s one of the most valuable gifts you can give others. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. You must be well cared for, nourished, rested and thriving to best care for yourself AND others. No one’s going to do that for you, but you.
I honor and acknowledge you for being here and taking the initiative to up your self-care game! Honestly, being here today is self-care and something to feel proud of, as you prioritize yourself and your wellbeing.
It’s important sometimes to receive permission to focus on ourselves. Whether you’re a self-care expert, someone who dabbles and is curious about how to incorporate these vital practices into your everyday life, or someone who usually doesn’t make time for yourself, this course is for you. In fact, it’s for anyone who desires a life they can fall in love with, full of vibrancy, richness and juiciness each and every day. You have the permission, and the invitation, to go big and dive in deep! That’s what we’re here for, no matter where you’ve been in the past.
I created this course because there has never been a greater need to unwind, breathe, and take a moment each day to slow down and make sure we’re ok. Whether you have two minutes or two hours, self-care is a practical and accessible tool you can access every single day. It can be done swiftly, inexpensively and nearly-effortlessly in seconds on days you have no extra time, and you can create an at-home spa day in your own oasis on days when you have extra time to indulge in feeling amazing.
